1 Draw a rectangle on the first layer. Lock it. Make a new layer.
2 Change the colour. On the new layer, draw a cityscape in the negative space using the Pen tool.
3 Using the Pen tool draw in the shapes and change colours as necessary.
4 Change to a light colour and draw in a street.
5 Using the same colour, draw in a centre line for the road. Then change to the Knife tool and make cuts. Using the Direct Selection tool delete the little sections.
6 Draw in the details on the buildings.
7 Draw the highlights and shadow areas.
8 Draw the sun using the Ellipse tool.
9 Change the colour and the Pencil brush. Set in some detail in the sky with a Stroke weight of 3 pt.
10 Change to Stroke and the dark colour. Add lines in places.
11 Finally, use a 2 pt. stroke and add in white and black lines. Then change to a dark blue and add a couple of shadows by the buildings.
